A White Wolf in a very large city

by Kaila
(Mississauga, Ontario, Canada)

I was getting home one summer night when just after parking my car in my driveway and exiting my vehicle, I noticed a large white dog-looking animal on the other side on the street.

My house is right next to a large ravine and wooded area so being used to seeing small Coyotes and animals I got back in my car and waited for it to leave.

As I took a better look in my rear view mirror I noticed it was starting to cross the street towards me, it was then that I realized it was way too fluffy and large to be a coyote it was a very LARGE wolf.

After inspecting the area it ran back across the street and disappeared down the pathway.

The following night as I was walking to my car it ran across my street once more, and the morning after that it was seen by some mothers taking their children to school.

I called Mississauga Animal Control but the guy laughed at me and told me it was a Coyote and to leave it alone (thanks City of Mississauga) but it hasn't been spotted since.
