Wolf sighting

by Aaron
(Petawawa)

I was returning from a road bicycle ride near Petawawa, and a wolf casually crossed the road right in front of me.

At first I thought it was a Coyote, but it was too large.

He paused on the side of the road as I circled back and we watched each other for a good ten seconds or so, before he carried on his way into the trees.

He had a "wolfish" smile on his face and the encounter made my day.

How lucky you are to have seen one of these animals up close - thank you Aaron for sending us this info!

Wolves in Petawawa?
by: Anonymous

I live in Petawawa, some people have said they've seen them, I haven't and I've been here for 15 years. I guess you gotta be there at the right time of year?
