Turkey Vultures

I observed a large flock of Turkey Vulture at least 30 birds circling in tight formation very low to the ground approximately 3 stories above the ground.

They gradually dispersed to fly in looser formation, landing in trees and then flying again.

Just before dark, some birds roosted in the trees in the area.

Thanks, James, for telling us about the Turkey Vultures.

I also see a lot of them, usually south of London, in the White Oak Road & Scotland Drive area - there are some trees there where I see them almost every time I drive past.
