Turkey Vultures in tree - Port Stanley

Last weekend hubby and I were in Port Stanley and around dusk I noticed that there were hundreds of Turkey Vultures flying over the cliffs.

I and got a shot of these fellas resting in a tree.

I know it looks like they are Starlings or Crows, but these are actually Vultures!

At this time of year the Turkey Vultures, and other raptors, are flying south, often in large groups, to spend the winter in the warmer southern states.
