Turkey Vulture Roost

One of our neighbours has a large fir tree in their back yard, and every Summer it's home to a dozen or more Turkey Vultures.

They roost in it overnight, then go about their business during the day.

Whenever Summer storms come rolling through it's like playtime for them. They ride the wind currents and circle right over our house for hours at a time.

It's one of my favourite things to sit and watch them.
