Three young Coyote pups

by Andrea
(Newmarket, Ontario, Canada)

My parents have just discovered 3 young, perhaps 5 weeks old, Coyote pups living in the drainage pipe under their driveway.

They live in Mt Albert.

We're not sure what to do with these.

If you're parents are not sure how long the Coyote pups have been there, just leave them and the parents may come back for them.

If they have been there several days and seem distressed, thin or starving, then I suggest that your parents call the MNR and have them picked up and taken somewhere safe, as the parent Coyotes may have been killed by hunters or cars.

Wow...lucky parents, or unlucky parents, depending on how you look on it I guess, at any rate, now I am curious as to the outcome of the Coyote pups.

Please try to keep us updated if possible and enjoy watching the lil fellows (from a safe distance of course)and I would love to see some pictures if possible :-)
