The sounds of the Coyotes

I live in Georgetown, Ontario, and I am in the habit of waking up around 1 a.m. This night I could hear the yipping of the Coyotes, they run - it sounds like from one end of the ravine to the other side.

I live close (several blocks) from the ravine that surrounds Georgetown, and so far I have not seen a live Coyote, but I am saddened to tell you that one on their run, was hit by a car.

There has been a lot of change in Georgetown, and the Coyote's area has been reduced. I have seen a Coyote early in the morning in the area of Brampton, Ontario.

Coyotes in Georgetown
by: Anonymous

I live in Georgetown as well. I moved to town in the spring of 2015. I have seen many coyotes in my back yard as well as walking down my street; single animals as well as pairs and groups of 3. I hear them about 4 or 5 nights a week and most nights they are close enough to the house that I can hear their foot falls as well as howls.
