Port Dover Coyote

by Dave
(Brantford, Ontario, Canada)

I saw a Coyote on August 18th 2011, at approximately 2:30 p.m, it was on highway #6 about 15 km. north of Port Dover.

The animal was right beside the highway and seemed reluctant to move from the shoulder, even though traffic was steady.

It appeared to be healthy and alert but unconcerned about the vehicles passing it.

Sick looking Coyote
by: Dean

I saw a Coyote this morning at 10:30AM.

It was walking along the USS plant property, and it was in rough shape, missing most of its fur.

I stopped on the side of the road and was within 100' and it just looked at me.

This might be a good thing that mange might help keep the over all balance in check.

In the past 3 years I have seen as many as 5 Coyotes a week during December to March 5 years ago.

Lucky to see one a month now.
