On the Bruce near Waterdown

I was going for a run in late May on the Bruce just off the escarpment near Waterdown, when I came across what I first thought was a deer.

When it started making this strange deep bark I realised it was not a deer but a dog of some kind.

It definately looked a little like the pictures on this page, but is did seem a bit bigger... that may have been my surprise adding to it's weight!
