Neighbour raising a coyote pup!,

I live in the Lindsay, Ontario, area, and my neighbour's grandson found an injured coyote pup this summer.

He brought it home and they are now raising it.

Initially they claimed to be taking it to the Peterborough zoo, but that does not seem to be the case.

Our smaller dog is afraid to go out at night as the Coyote comes over to our property and crawls under our deck.

I would tend to think this is illegal for them to be doing this.

I don't know if it is illegal, but it sounds unwise. Contact the MNR and ask if this is legal.
