Near Newmarket, a lone howl

While we have lots of Coyotes, and see them and hear them regularly (every night), we have one lone Wolf or Coyote that howls just like a Wolf. It is eerie.

When one of the Coyotes starts, they all chime in, as Coyotes do.

However, when this one lone animal howls (we live in the country with deep bush), it sounds just like a Wolf, and no other animals join it, there is just silence.

We are almost positive it is a lone Wolf.

I think you're probably right!
