House Sighting In Essex-County

My name is Matthew. I am 14 going on 15, and today I saw a Bald Eagle.


I had gone for a bike ride by myself in my neighborhood and went home to get a drink.

On my way inside, I heard a noise and ran out.

I just saw it as it took off past my house.

I recognized the brown and white feathers and also the long wingspan and knew it was an Eagle.

I wonder how many other people in my town saw it?

My home town is Essex and I remember when I was growing up, we spotted Bald Eagle nests around Kingsville, Ontario, (for those who are not familiar, it's about a twenty minute drive from Essex)

The youth-group went canoeing up around that area and that's when we spotted the Bald Eagle on a nest. So it's possible there could be a nest somewhere in Essex.
