Greenway Road, Grand Bend

Swans in Grand Bend 2010

Tanya from Grand Bend tells us about her sighting of the migrating Tundra Swans - While driving down Greenway Road between Grand Bend and Port Franks, Ontario, on March 15th, 2010, many farm fields are filled with hundreds and hundreds of Tundra Swans.

Here is one photo, of a large amount taking off in flight, with a large amount staying on the field.

Unfortunately I couldn't get too close to them, due to extreme mud, and my camera doesn't have much of a zoom, but I wanted to send this photo in for your viewers to enjoy.

Thank you so much for sending us your report and photo, Tanya, I'm sure our readers will be glad to know that the Tundra Swans have returned again to this area, in such large numbers!
