Family Day

by Elise
(England)

When is the Family Day holiday in Canada? I have heard of this but don't know when it is.
Thank you.

A. Family Day is observed in the province of Ontario, and also Alberta and Saskatchewan, on the third Monday of February.

We have this day as a Statutory Holiday to celebrate the importance of our families and family life, to people and their communities.

Next year, 2011, this holiday will fall on Monday February 21st.
