Eagles Making a comeback along Thames River

Three years ago I saw my first Bald Eagle sitting about a 100 meters off the Longwoods Road near Thamesville, Ontario.

Three years later I know where there are 4 nests between Delaware and Chatham, all of them along the Thames River.

I see an Eagle almost once a week between Bothwell and Chatham.

I have an outdoor job and travel between London and Windsor. Since fall I have seen Eagles in Windsor, Tilbury, Chatham, Thamesville, Bothwell, Glencoe and Mt Brydges.

Bald Eagle
by: L. Steeves

Just saw a Bald Eagle sitting in the middle of a corn field. Fairview Line, Chatham. I watched it for about 15 minutes. It never took flight.
