Eagle near North Bay

I had a lucky day! I was heading out and saw a dead deer alongside the highway. The first thing I saw was a dozen wings flapping in front of the car - those were Ravens trying to chase the Eagle off.

Even the police stopped to admire this guy. I had to back the car up twice before he felt safe enough to land here.

I had left for just a 'short' drive this morning, and just got home at 1:30 pm. Some of these photos are fuzzy because of the distance in the one tree.
