Coyotes Spotted at Derrydale Golf Course

by Don
(Mississuaga, Ontario)

I water the grounds of Derrydale Golf Course at night, and as I was driving around the course at the end of the shift picking up hoses etc. I saw two Coyotes, together, sitting in the middle of the fairway.

I shone a flashlight but they did not move, so I did not finish picking up the sprinkler heads.

I drove away uncertain as to whether or not I should have approached.

Was this the right thing to do?

I think you were wise not to get too close to them at night-time, when you were alone - it is better to be safe than sorry!
