Coyotes in Windsor Ontario

by Zach
(Windsor, Ontario)

There are four Coyotes that we have spotted by our house.

We live next to a forest and there are Coyotes, and they have killed small dogs in the area.

This is just ten minutes from the Ambassador Bridge.

Howling Pack
by: Anonymous

Heard a pack of Coyotes howling and yelping in sync with the Fire sirens near Lauzon Pkwy / Tecumseh tonight.

I wonder how many there are...

I seen one crossing Lauzon Road right near Tecumseh Road..... in a high traffic area, running toward a bushy area ... it was huge too!!!!

We are disturbing the environment by cutting down all the bushes. I also think that because of all the construction lately near the airport they are disturbing their home.

They will adapt to what they have available. I find them a pretty interesting animal.

Just won't trust any small animals out in the backyard at night. Keep an eye if they are outside late.

I want to go looking for them. Any good suggestions on where to go?

I'm not sure, but perhaps one of our readers will know ......

Coyotes in Windsor
by: Fred

Just saw one this evening in South Walkerville. April 13, 2011 around 3am.

I was driving west on Ypres from Walker and this bugger was running through the intersection at Lincoln.

I followed him north on Lincoln to Lens where he then turned west again.

The whole trip he ran right down the middle of the road and kept looking back at me.

Nasty looking bugger. How come these things are showing up in the city?
