Coyote Spotted in Oro-Medonte Township

by Wendy
(Horseshoe Valley)

Just a few days ago, while driving between Old Barrie Road and the 15/16 Sideroad, there was a coyote about 100 feet from the road in a field.

He was alone and I slowed right down to get a good look.

He didn't move and I proceeded towards Highway 11.

I wasn't sure if it was a Coyote until I went online and saw a picture which was very similar to the one I saw.

Isn't it unusual to see one about 9:30 am?

Coyote Sighting
by: Anonymous

I took a video and several pictures today of a Coyote eating apples at our apple trees.

This was at about 11:00 a.m.

I have been seeing Coyotes much earlier in the day this winter and also much closer to the house.
