Coyote in Brampton - October 12, 2011

by sz
(Brampton, Ontario)

I just saw a Coyote on our street (Brampton, Ontario, Wednesday October 12, 2011 @ 9:45pm - its raining and very windy).

We have been living here for 10+ years and I have never seen one before. It was on my neighbour's drive-way and then walked in to the middle of the street and just stopped in front of my car.

I stopped and kind of gave him high beam (didn't know what else to do) and it stared back for a few seconds and then went off side to the drive way.

There are quite a few children on our street and pets, and there is really no forest/trees in this area (the area is only 10 years old), so I'm not sure where it came from and where it went.
