Burlington Possum - Guelph Line Road

It was nearly 10:00 when I stepped out to the back porch of my boyfriend's townhouse when I saw this animal which first appeared to be a large Raccoon as there are Raccoons which visit here on a regular basis.

He was moving slowly, took a peek into the back area, then went on to the adjoining neighbor's yard when I had to do a double take.

As this large critter passed by I saw that it didn't have a bushy tail, but instead a long skinny one!

This was the first time that a Possum has been spotted here, and it was just as large as the Raccoon I usually see here!
