Bird in a tree

I am wondering if anyone knows what kind of bird this is.

I saw it outside of Cambridge, Ontario, sitting atop an evergreen tree last week.

I'm not sure but it could be some kind of Tree Duck, such as the Amazon Tree Duck seen here, but which is unlikely in Southern Ontario, or it could be a Wood Duck
