Bald Eagles in Port Severn, Ontario

by Craig Marchetti
(Port Severn, Ontario, Canada)

A couple of years ago I started seeing a Bald Eagle flying about near where I live in Port Severn.

I was able to locate where it was nesting and have discovered there are actually a pair of them, and the best part is that their nest is less than a mile from where I live, on southern Georgian Bay.

Bald Eagles Port Severn
by: Eagle Eyes

Pair of Bald Eagles spotted December 2021 perched in tree on north side of chutes. Spotted single bird December 2022 same location. Wondering if these birds migrate to this spot or live there year round.
