I saw this Bald Eagle at the side of County Road no. 2, just west of Princeton, Ontario, on Saturday March 22, 2014.

The bird was banded and had "tethers" on its legs and I am concerned that it may get these tangled in telephone wires.

Is it possible that this bird had escaped from a Sanctuary?

Thank you for sending us this report - if anyone knows of an escaped Bald Eagle, please let the authorities know about this bird in the Princeton area.

Falconry bird
by: Kevin Creede

You might want to contact the Toronto school of falconry as it is most likely someones lost bird of prey!
