Bald Eagle on the Grand River Waterloo

by Heidi
(Waterloo, Ontario)

What a treat!

We spotted a Bald Eagle flying along the Grand River at Rim Park last night at approximately 7:00 pm (March 16, 2011).

I have never seen a Bald Eagle in Ontario, but am eager to see more!

Thanks for letting us know about your sighting - I hope you see Eagles again - be sure to let us know when and where, and we will let our readers know!

Bald Eagle near Glen Morris
by: S & P

On May 9, 2011 we spotted a Bald Eagle on the Grand River, just past Glen Morris, as we were canoeing from Galt to Paris, Ontario.

It was a single Bald Eagle, and of course disappeared faster than we could find the camera.

Absolutely beautiful.

Another Sighting - April 26, 2011
by: Mary

I just spotted a Bald Eagle on the Grand River in Kitchener, on the trail near the bridge in Old Bridgeport.

It was so close on the trail before it took off!

Beautiful!
