Bald Eagle Cobden

by Pam McEwan
(Cobden, Ontario)

Bald Eagle

Bald Eagle

My husband and I were travelling along highway 17, about 3 miles west of Cobden, Ontario, when we saw a beautiful bald eagle perched on a farm fence post alongside the highway.

The highway in this area is only 2 lanes, and the fence is only a few feet from the side of the road.

We were able to really study this bird up close, as it just sat there staring into the fields.

What a pleasant drive this turned out to be - I only wish I had a camera with me!

Thanks for your submission to our site, Pam, I wish you had a camera too - but I found a good picture of a Bald Eagle for our readers
