Wild Boar by Lake Simcoe
Driving home to my house just south of Island Grove on the shore of Lake Simcoe, I saw a short-haired grey animal cross the road in front of me, heading for the lake.
It was stocky, had a long snout and legs like a mid-sized dog, a flat back.
It was not an Opossum
(too small) and its back was too flat.
After researching pictures of animals, I believe it was a Wild Boar.
It was seen on November 17, 2011 at 8 p.m. on Lake Drive North.Wow, that is interesting, I wonder if any other readers have spotted this animal in your area. If you have, please let us know.
