Sighting Bald Eagle by the 402 close to Strathroy

On the hot day of Wednesday, June 8, 2011, my son and I spotted a Bald Eagle at the edge of a large mud puddle in the field along side the highway.

Could not believe our eyes, but after reading that they have been sighted in Ontario, I am sure that is what it was ..... cooling off by the water with some smaller birds!
