Sarnia, Ontario

by Guy
(Sarnia, Ontario, Canada)

Beautiful beaches and parks. The proximity of petrochemical installations has given Sarnia a less deserved reputation. Having lived in Sarnia for 8 years after returning from Europe.

I can only say that Sarnia must have the nicest weather in Canada. The weather together with Sarnia's beautiful beaches and parks make this a nice place to live. A drive along Lakeshore Road and a visit to Canatara Park will attest to this.

This city has a lot of untapped potential which is unfortunately not being tapped by the present city council.

Sarnia is a border town situated on Lake Huron.

Thanks for your info, Guy, Sarnia is also one of my favourite towns in Southern Ontario - we would love to hear more about what you love about Sarnia - and photos too, if you have any!

Sarnia: No Complaints
by: Anonymous

I lived in Sarnia back in the 1970's and found it to be a great place to reside.

Being originally from northern Ontario I found the weather to be much warmer in Sarnia and the proximity to London to be a plus.
