I grew up in Toronto and moved to Tampa, Florida 11 years ago! Christmas is just not the same! I heard it started snowing there already! I miss the first fluffy flakes falling gently to the ground! Does not feel like holiday time without it! Merry Christmas!


Hi Tracy - I'm so sad that you are homesick for Canada! I would feel the same way too .... I love the changing seasons, the beautiful Fall colours and the beautiful snow-covered landscapes in winter. I heard Toronto had a few flakes of snow, but nothing big just yet. Keep checking out our website - there will be more of interest to ex-Torontonians coming soon!

Hi - I was born and lived in Hamilton Ontario until 1984 then I moved to central Florida. I never felt homesick unless it was the fall or Christmas and now I'm homesick every day. But, I'm not sure how I would manage those cold winters, the dangers of ice and snow driving and walking after living in this beautiful weather for almost 30 years.
