Bald Eagles

Sunday January 12/2014... about 11:30 am on Highway 407 going over Sixteen Mile Creek in Oakville, Ontario, a large Bald Eagle flew down in front of our vehicle about 200 metres ahead and was only 15 to 20 feet or so over the roadway.

It was mature with beautiful white tail plumage and the white head.

It was a sight to see as we approached directly from behind then it glided up across the highway and landed in a large pine tree.

The weekend before we saw a pair of Bald Eagles floating way above over Highway 403 at Highway 6 near their nesting site at RBG (Royal Botanical Gardens).
