Bald Eagle sightings Hoover Point Lake Erie

by Gary Hummell
(Hoover Point Lane, Ontario, Canada)

On Friday April 8 2011, at 7:00 PM there was an Eagle in the tree two cottages from our cottage.

It looked like a Golden Eagle, however in looking into this I found that young Bald Eagles look like Golden Eagles.

I watched the Eagle for 20 Minutes until it left.

Hoover Point is on Lake Erie, and the nearest towns Selkirk and Fisherville.

Thanks for telling us about your sighting - maybe other readers in the Selkirk area will spot the Eagles too - if you do, please write and tell us about it!
