Andy returning from Niagara experience

Toronto at sunset

This is Andy from England! My wife Alison and I have recently returned from a wonderful holiday at Niagara Falls.

It was a truly memorable experience for us both, with many highlights such as a trip on the Maid of the Mist boat, that goes right up close to the cascading majesty of the Horseshoe Falls as well as a ride down the rapids in a jet-boat (recommended if you like getting very wet).

We also had a lovely meal in the restaurant overlooking the falls, with the searchlights changing the colour of the water every few seconds.

But one of the special moments of our trip came when we came across the pretty little town of Niagara-on-the-Lake at sunset.

My wife and I sat there spellbound by the sight of the sun going down over Lake Ontario with Toronto as the back drop.

It was truly stunning.

Because we were rather obsessed with the falls we did not get to discover as much of Southern Ontario as we had hoped. But not to worry, we will keep looking at your excellent website until we return.

Keep up the good work Barb.

Many thanks!

Andy

Thanks for your story Andy, I know how wonderful Niagara Falls is - even after more than 40 years in this country, I still love spending time in the Niagara area, there is so much to see and do, but Niagara-on-the-Lake is also one of our favourites

I love Niagara Falls also and I am fortunate to be able to visit the Falls every year. I live in NY state.
